Brief Description Sea France ran a traincard campaign over 3 weeks in June 2009 to raise the brand awareness and their offers thus stimulating considering Sea France for travel to France. The 8,000 panel campaign ran on trains throughout London and the South East.

Some of the key findings from TRACE, our campaign monitoring service were:

* 17% of all passengers spontaneously recall noticing advertising for a ferry company on the train. Of these respondents, 37% are able to recall it was advertising for Sea France.
* When shown the advertising for Sea France, 55% of train passengers recognise having seen it on the trains.
* There is some perceived familiarity about the advertising as 29% of train travellers feel they have seen it elsewhere, primarily as a tube or rail station poster.
* The advertising is seen as being clear & easy to understand (93%), noticeable (87%) and informative (82%). As a result, it’s not surprising that there are 66% who consider that it is ‘aimed at people like me’.
* This research shows 52% feel it makes them more likely to consider using Sea France.
